an enthralling second day at Baltusrol.Streb carded eight birdies to reel in long-time leader Jimmy Walker as
both equalled the record for the best halfway score in the tournament on
131, nine under par, while Jason Day mounted an incredible charge with a
run of seven birdies in eight holes around the turn.The world No 1 is just two shots off the lead heading into the weekend
alongside Emiliano Grillo, while Henrik Stenson maintained his bid for
back-to-back majors with a second consecutive 67 as he staged a fine
recovery from two early bogeys.
