Actually, the United States USA visitor visa is a kind of non immigrant visa for a person who desires to visit or enter the United States. The United States visitor visa is a temporarily for business (B-1) or for the pleasure, tourism or medical treatment (B-2). Every year, international travelers with the United States visitor visas comprise a large portion of temporary visitor travel to the United States.There are different visa category for the students, permanent or temporary worker, journalists and persons planning to travel to the United States other than the United States Visitor Visa. Travelling the United States without a visa i.e. international or foreign citizens for the purpose to visit only is also available. That know as the Visa Waiver Program where the visitor from the certain eligible countries may visit the U.S. if they meet requirements, which includes a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). In addition, Canada’s and Bermuda’s Citizens can travel around the United States without the Visa, with some exceptions.

This program of the United States enables some countries to visit and travel for the purpose of tourism or business for 90 days or less without obtaining a visa. This program was established in 1986 with the visions of eradicating the difficult and unnecessary barriers to travel, flourishing the tourism industry, and permitting the Department of State to focus consular resources in other areas. However, Visa Waiver Program also includes the visa procedures if the eligible visitors prefer to travel with visa. Although, not all the countries are facilitates by this program and also not all the visitors. There are certain limitation on this program. Visa Waiver Program (VWP) visitors are screened prior to admission into the United States, and they are enrolled in the Department of Homeland Security’s United States Visit program.
From April 5, 2010 Greek citizens will be able to travel to the United States without a visa. Currently, 36 countries participate in the Visa Waiver Program, as shown below:
Europe: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, including Greenland and Faroe Islands, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands including Aruba and Netherlands Antilles, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom (full British Citizens only).
Asia: Brunei, Japan, South Korea, Singapore
Oceania: Australia, New Zealand
